Manchester
Manchester is a historic village located on Route 7 South
approximately 45 minutes from Killington. It is full of factory stores, boutiques, specialty shops and
designer outlets.
To get to Manchester from Killington take Route 4 West to Rutland. At the junction of Route 4 and Route 7, take a left and go South on Route 7. Stay on Route 7 until you come to Manchester.
On the way you will go through the town of Wallingford. You will also pass by several interesting antiques shops and a country store. You will also pass the Peal Gallery of Fine Arts.
While in Manchester be sure to visit the Jelly Mill. A country store with an eatery. It features handcrafted wares, candles, and kitchenware. The Owl's Nest features art supplies for professional artists and students. Battenkill and Highridge Plaza offer upscale men and women designer apparel at discount prices.
While in town don't forget to visit Frog Hollow Craft Center. The nonprofit Frog Hollow located in the historic Equinox Hotel features over 250 Vermont artisans in various crafts including weaving, ceramics, jewelry, and furniture.
There are many factory stores in Manchester. Be sure to visit Dooney & Bourke for handbags, belts and shoes and
accessories. If you get hungry there are many great eateries in town.
